About the Role
Being a freight broker agent can be extremely rewarding, as it allows you to independently network with freight carriers and freight clients. The job involves being able to establish relationships with both sides, managing the freight being shipped in order to be covered by insurance, negotiating rates and organizing delivery logistics. As a freight broker agent you must stay organized as attention to detail is essential; you must keep track of freight documents as well as having the ability to multi-task and negotiate successful deals. If a freight broker agent is successful at their job this can be very beneficial for those involved in the shipment, but there are also times when problems or difficulties can arise and it’s important that these be solved quickly and efficiently. In short, being a freight broker agent requires diligence, attention to detail and excellent relationship building skills.
Requirements
Must be self motivated and innovative
Must take the Truth Freight University course and gain your degree in being a freight broker agent
Must be willing to grow and flourish in life and strengthen yourself daily
Must want to become a 1 percenter at some point in your life
